Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project consists primarily of drainage improvements, curb installation, milling and resurfacing and full depth reconstruction of various streets in Mt. Tabor. Quantities will be provided prior to the start of construction. Major estimated quantities are as follows: Hot Mix Asphalt Milling, 3" or less 9,443 SY HMA 9.5M64 Surface Course 1,133 Tons HMA 19M64 Base Course 520 Tons Granite Block Curb 6,553 LF 12", 15" and 18" RCP Drainage Pipe 2,500 LF A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills, or a duly executed bid bond in the amount of 10% of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00, must be deposited by the bidder together with a Certificate of Surety evidencing that he can obtain the required Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract. The successful bidder shall be required to deliver to the Township an executed Performance Bond of the responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. In lieu of a Certificate of Surety, the bidder shall submit, at the bid opening, a certified check or cashier's check in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid. Bidders are required to comply with requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Prevailing Wage Act: Specification of Prevailing Wage Rate by Craft in Contract All Bidders and their Subcontractors must comply with the requirements of the New Jersey Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. The Specifications as amended in Section 108.11 indicates that this Contract provides one hundred twenty (120) days for substantial completion of the work. Bid proposals must be placed in sealed envelopes addressed to the Office of Purchasing, Township of Parsippany Troy Hills, 1001 Parsippany Boulevard, Parsippany, New Jersey 07054 and marked plainly on the outside with the bid description and the name and address of the bidder marked clearly on the outside of the envelope. The Township of Parsippany Troy Hills reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the proposal received and award a contract to the lowest responsible bidder as required by N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4. The Township further reserves the right to consider all bids for sixty (60) days after the bid opening before awarding a contract.
