PROJECT / USPS File #: J19949 Scope of work is to provide all material, labor, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, superintendence, temporary construction of every nature, and all other services and facilities necessary to complete the interior security upgrades of a postal facility for the Postal Service, including all incidental work described in the Contract Documents. Work includes replacing old Vicon Viconet System with Vicon Valerus VMS system. *The bid list for this project may be incomplete. The Contractor must provide all material, labor, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, superintendence, temporary construction of every nature, and all other services and facilities necessary to complete the interior security upgrades of a postal facility for the Postal Service, including all incidental work described in the Contract Documents. o Replace old Vicon Viconet System with Vicon Valerus VMS system. o Reutilize the existing console and racks, repopulate with new equipment. o Provide new peripheral device cabinets, enclosures, and racks as needed. o The main head end is to be replaced with new equipment to support the Valerus VMS. o Salvage existing equipment, inventory and return to USPS PSS. o Test all existing cable and fiber, include replacing up to 4,000 LF of Cat-6, and 4,000 LF of fiber o Provide 4 new remote nodes, each node will have a 6-strand fiber home-run to main headend room. o Install CCTV Monitoring stations in CIO 1096B, Recp. 1068, TACS 1034, and Trans 1073. o Install new and/or remove/replace cameras at the VMF building, employee parking, P&DC facility, associated offices and other areas indicated. o Replace approximately 43 fixed cameras. o Provide approximately 10 fixed new cameras. o Replace approximately 37 multi-sensor cameras. o Provide approximately 91 new multi-sensor cameras. o Replace approximately 18 PTZ cameras. o Provide approximately 21 new PTZ cameras. o Provide 3 new camera poles in the employee parking lot. o Provide 2 new camera poles at the in/out truck entrance. o Provide 2 new camera poles at the employee parking inbound/outbound. o Provide 2 new camera pole at the outbound truck exit. o Provide 1 new camera pole at the two-way inbound/outbound truck exit. o Remove existing cameras no longer required. All work shall be in accordance with applicable codes and local regulations that may apply. In case of conflict in or between the Contract Documents and a governing code or ordinance, the more stringent standard shall apply
