As of April 21, 2023, project was awarded to H & K Group, Inc., awarded amount is $297,101.48. Union Township 2023 Paving Projects CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 3/2/2023 10:00 AM Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check or bid bond (in the required form) for ten percent (10%) of the bid total. The work generally includes leveling course and overlay of Jonestown Road from PA Route 72 to Racehorse Drive, with joint and crack repairs conducted beforehand, with certain joint repairs involving concrete base removal. The work also includes a section of milling and overlay at the southern end of the Awol Road I-81 overpass. All roads will require white fog line and double yellow center line pavement markings, with other pavement markings required at the PA Route 72 intersection with Jonestown Road. Bidders are advised that prevailing wage rates and record-keeping procedures established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry shall apply for bids over $100,000 and that minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents shall be paid on the project. Union Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion.
