Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Warwick Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Base Contract will generally include the mill and overlay of 12 Township roadways (40,960 SY/3,690 TON). This work will also include 844 LF of concrete curb replacements, 950 SF concrete sidewalk replacements, 64 SF of truncated dome inserts (8 ramps), 4 EA Belgian block curb replacements, 1,600 SY pavement repair, 70 GAL rubberized crack seal, 2,468 LF of curbline/intersection/driveway milling, 35,470 SY full-width mill (1-1/2" depth), 940 TON leveling/scratch course and the replacement of all pavement markings. The Base Contract will also include the expansion and repaving of the pickleball courts at Guinea Lane Park including new nets, poles, fencing and Laykold "Colorcoat System." The Base Contract will also include the repaving of the two basketball courts at Warwick Township Community Park including new poles, hoops, backboards and Laykold "Colorcoat System." Alternate/Add-On No. 1 will generally include full-width mill and overlay of a portion of Heritage Drive (6,070 SY/550 TON). This work will also include 379 LF of concrete curb replacements, 420 SF of sidewalk replacements, 32 SF. truncated dome inserts (4 ramps), 125 SY of pavement repair, 100 TONS leveling/scratch course and the replacement of all pavement markings. Attachment #1 of PennDOT Proposal and Contract MS-944 (Pages 3 and 3A-1 to 3A-3), as well as the "Summary of Estimated Quantities" (Pages 3B-1 - 3B-4), contained in the Proposal and Contract Section of the Contract Documents, provides the quantities for each roadway. The "Instructions to Bidders" Section describes the bidding requirements under this Contract. This project is subject to the terms and conditions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as determined by the Secretary of Labor and Industry and, therefore, must be bid as such. The project is subject to the terms of the Public Works Employment Verification Act (Act 127 of 2012). Completed and signed "Public Works Employment Verification Form" is required as a precondition to the award of the Contract and is to be submitted as part of the submission of the bid. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount for the work detailed in Attachment #1. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 2/23/2023 4:00 PM The successful bidder will be required to furnish separate bonds with corporate surety issued by companies authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on the prescribed forms dated the date of the Contract, or separate Federal or Commonwealth chartered lending institution irrevocable letters of credit in a form accepted and approved by the Township, each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, to secure (a) the faithful performance and maintenance of the Contract; and (b) the prompt payment of materials and labor. Bids must be accompanied by an executed Non-Collusion Affidavit as set forth in the Contract Documents. Failure to submit an Affidavit with the bid proposal may result in disqualification of the bid.
