Supply and Delivery Water Meters based on the need of the Water & Sewer Superintendent The governing body of the Town of Stoughton establish a Standard Water Meter for operations, installation and compatibility with the existing fixed network reading system for purchases including replacement meters and meter interface units (MIU's). As part of the recent fixed network meter reading system project, the Town installed antenna Infrastructure, the computer hardware/software reading system, and large meter replacements using Neptune meters & MIU's to communicate the reading directly to the Water and Sewer Office. Water Meters and MIU purchases by the Water Department will continue to be manufactured by Neptune for compatibility with the new Fixed Network Reading System
