Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Litchfield, Michigan. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
As of August 25, 2023, bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid. In general, the work consists of improvements to various street, watermain, and storm sewers located in the City of Litchfield. Work includes watermain replacement, storm sewer and roadway improvements on Park Street, Centennial Street. Watermain and roadway improvements on Teal Street including a new watermain in an easement connecting Teal Street to Cottonwood Court. Storm sewer and roadway improvements on Stock Street. Roadway improvements on Adams Street. The issuing office is Jones & Henry Engineers, Ltd., 4791 Campus Drive, Kalamazoo, Ml 49008, 292-353- 9650. Copies of the Bidding Documents may be examined at the Owner's office listed above or the issuing office, without charge. Technical questions regarding the project should be e-mailed to the Project Manager Rick Eshlaman, P.E. reshlaman@jheng.com at Jones & Henry Engineers, Ltd. no later than February 22, 2023. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, but no bidder shall withdraw his Bid within 60 days after the actual opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive irregularities in any Bid, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner.
