Notice is hereby given that LACKLAND CLEAR SKY DEVELOPMENT, LLC, on behalf of the Clear Sky MUD of Cooke County, Cooke County, State of Texas, will receive bids for the construction of WATER, EARTHWORK & DRAINAGE improvements to serve 45 residential lots and 1 HOA lots at Clear Sky Phase 1. Any bids coming after that date and time, unless the MUD extends the date and time for all bidders, will be rejected. The improvements generally to be made include furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work necessary to construct WATER, EARTHWORK & DRAINAGE improvements shown in the construction plans. The MUD will accept bids for the completion of the entire project as well as bids for the Water, Earthwork and Drainage portions separately. Bids mailed to the MUD must also arrive prior to the scheduled bid opening. Estimated start date is Q2 2023. Certified/Cashier's check or acceptable bidder's bonds, payment without recourse to Owner in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of total bid submitted must accompany bid. The amount of said cashier's check or bond will be forfeited to the Owner and the bank or surety shall be liable to the Owner for the amount in the event the successful bidder fails or refuses to enter into a contract or furnish bonds as hereafter required within fifteen (15) days after the date of notice of award. LACKLAND CLEAR SKY DEVELOPMENT, LLC, on behalf of the Clear Sky MUD of Cooke County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all informalities.
