This Request for Proposal (the "RFP") is an invitation by Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority to qualified firms to submit a proposal for Interpretive planning & design for Conservation Area Signage (further described in 'Appendix D - The RFP Particulars'). General Background The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority requires interpretive planning and design services for two (2) NPCA conservation areas with the possibility to add three (3) more in the next two (3) years (2024 to 2026). The primary outcome of this task is to develop an interpretive and wayfinding signage plan for Rockway Conservation Area and Cave Springs Conservation Area. The plan will include a collection of signs that improve the visitor experience in both conservation areas. The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority (NPCA) has initiated the improvement of greenspace infrastructure and increased safe access to their passive conservation areas. The project includes enhancing the parking areas, updating trail systems, improving the hiking trails by restoring boardwalks and stairs as well as developing accessible trails to support those with disabilities. The project also includes an interpretive and wayfinding signage component to support the communication and visitor experience Question Deadline: Wed Feb 22, 2023 10:00 AM (EST) The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
