1. The contractor will be required to provide comprehensive services to complete the entire process of the data/fiber optic and IMSA multiconductor Fire alarm at the sites specified. These services will include system-level design including proposed routes, infrastructure, technical specifications, build timing, associated costs, and schematic diagrams. Pole permitting will also be required on poles on Buckmeadow Rd and on Fordham Dr, Leslie Ln and portions of Gendron St 2. A specific, detailed, actionable, phased implementation plan, with timelines and costs to build the network including interim steps we can take to prepare for network expansion. 3. Governance, ownership and management guidance including zoning and Right of Way (ROW) ordinances, potential legal ramifications and roadblocks to the plan, leasing and asset sharing guidelines and templates. 4. The contractor will be expected to provide experienced staff with adequate expertise in project management and wiring technologies to comply with the implementation standards required by NSD. We are seeking qualified proposals from a qualified telecommunications firm with expert experience installing municipal aerial fiber. This telecommunication consulting firm is to develop a plan and install an aerial fiber run for a newly acquired Nashua School District building. This building is located at Brian McMarthy Middle School on Buckmeadow Rd.Nashua, NH 03062 and will join municipal fiber from Nashua High School South located on 36 Riverside Dr. Nashua, NH on July 16, 2021. The contents of all proposals will be open to inspection by interested parties, either at the time of bid opening or by appointment thereafter. The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to allow the Nashua School District (NSD) to join the existing interconnected municipal fiber throughout the City of Nashua. By law, proposals for leased lit fiber, leased dark fiber, self-provisioning, and services over a third-party network, will all be considered, as required by the FCC under the E-Rate program. Any proposals for solutions other than self-provisioning should include pricing for a 10-year agreement, as available.
