The site is intended for short term 2-year temporary modular housing. The project comprises of a one-storey building providing 50 single unit rooms with shared bathrooms. A minimum 5% of the total units to be wheelchair accessible with code-compliant ramps to provide access from grade. These will require minimum 914 mm (3’) clear doorway width throughout the unit; 5’ turning circle inside the bathroom, at the suite entry and in the living space; open knee space underneath the kitchen sink and bathroom sink; roll-in shower with slip resistance flooring with floor drains and water closet; code-compliant grab bars. Amenities and office/staff areas as per provided plan (in consultation with BCH). Program/Amenity Area to include, kitchen, dining area, Lounge, front office/reception, managers office, tenant support worker office, staff room, Staff washroom, medical room, Overdose Prevention Room (OPR), common washroom and wheelchair accessible washroom, wheelchair accessible laundry room, storage rooms, picnic tables, gazebo, accessible ramp, external storage c-cans.
