Flow metering and sewer capacity analyses revealed collection system deficiencies in the sewer line along Chandler Boulevard from California Street to Lake Street. The project will include upsizing approximately 9,000 feet of 18-inch to 24-inch diameter sewer line. This project will reduce the amount of sewage entering the Los Angeles (LA) Hyperion collection system and convey it to the Burbank Water Reclamation Plant (BWRP) for treatment. This project is included in the City of Burbank's FY 2022-2027 CIP. As of February 9, 2023, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. Construction is anticipated from FY 2023 to FY 2025.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
