Questions Due Date: Feb 7th 2023, 2:30 PM CST Provide Labor and Materials: o Overview of Project -The Existing bi-level fountains are configured as lo-hi which is no longer manufactured. -Replacement requires installation of two individual fountains in 7 different locations. -Replace 9 individual drinking fountains requested. - 23 fountains will be installed. Seven Lo-Hi Drinking Fountains, various locations. -Shut down water to fountains. -Demolish 1 Lo-Hi style drinking fountain. -Re-pipe fountain internal drainage to Lo-Hi style configuration with continuous waste piping. -Install 2 new Elkay VRCDS single drinking fountains. Various Trades Invitation to Bid -Units to be mechanically operated, unfiltered and unchilled. - Isolate water fountains. - Use existing angle stops. - Check for leaks once installed. -When finished test for proper operation. -9 Individual fountains -Shut down water to fountains. -Demolish 1 single drinking fountain. -Install 1 new Elkay VRCDS single drinking fountain. Unit to be mechanically operated, unfiltered and unchilled. -Once complete test for proper operation. -Secure job site overnight if work is not completed in one day. -If building or CPS properties are damaged during construction, contractor to replace and/or repair as necessary. -Provide necessary labor and materials to fix/correct issues preventing any or all the projects to be marked as completed. -All work shall be coordinated with the Board authorized representatives to complete in an agreed upon time frame. -Contractor is to remove and dispose of materials torn out and any construction debris. -All trash must be removed off-site by contractor. -Clean the surrounding area and make sure all is swept of debris. -All questions/requests must be received two (2) business days prior to bid closing.
