**As of May 24, 2023 project has been canceled. As of this time it is unknown if and when project will rebid. Klamath County School District will accept sealed bids for the renovation of the standalone Career Technical Education (CTE) building at Brixner Middle School. The renovation includes partial gutting of the existing building with a reconfigured interior (new interior partitions, renovated and enlarged ADA restrooms, electrical upgrades, mezzanine, etc.) There is minor site concrete replacement of older dilapidated sidewalk panels. KCSD is not currently planning to participate in any of the construction work and the entire scope shown within the plans shall be performed by the awarded contractor. The project will be a public improvement project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870, Prevailing Wage Rates. The work contemplated consists of the following: removal of existing partitions, cutting in a new door through the CMU wall and infilling the old location, expanded/upgraded mezzanine, restrooms, janitorial and IT rooms, electrical upgrades, mechanical upgrades, plumbing modifications, and exterior concrete. The owner reserves the right to postpone the award of the contract for sixty (60) days and may reject any bid not in compliance with all public bidding procedures and requirements on these solicitation documents and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the Owner, that it is in the public interest to do so.
