The intent of this Bid is to obtain stipulated price (lump sum) Bids for subcontract work for the Neepawa Health Centre. Scope Sections included: Masonry, AVB Membrane, Metal & Composite Wall Panels and Soffit, Hardie Board, Roofing, Fall Protection, Roof Hatches, Firestopping, Fireproofing, Glazed Curtain Walls, Storefronts, Windows and Entrances, and Exterior Steel Studs and Drywall. The project consists of the replacement of the existing time expired Neepawa Hospital with a new approximately 180,000 sf facility built on a new greenfield site in the town of Neepawa, approximately 60 inpatient beds intended to consolidate care services for Neepawa and the surrounding communities. The new enhanced district hub will also address increased need for specialty programs including chemotherapy, renal dialysis, surgery, obstetrics, bariatric and chronic care. The new Neepawa Health Centre (NHC) will also accommodate space for an expanded emergency department, an ambulatory care clinic, ORs and procedure rooms, medical device reprocessing (MDR), pharmacy, diagnostic services, cafeteria and food services, laundry, public amenity spaces and staff support spaces.
