The Owner is developing the Raw Water Line Replacement project involving construction via horizontal directional drilling and open cut methodology of approximately 830 meters of 700 mm water line and abandonment of existing 400 mm steel and 300 mm concrete lines. The project involves construction of approximately 830 meters of 700 mm water line using horizontal directional drilling and open cut methods. The work involves three tie-ins to existing steel and ductile iron pipe. The south tie-in involves construction of a temporary by-pass and paving of the tie-in area. Tree clearing and mulching will be required at selected areas for construction. The existing 400 mm steel and 300 mm concrete lines will be abandoned as part of the project.
