Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of replacement of concrete slab on grade approaches, partial depth deck replacement of the structural approach slabs, bridge deck concrete scarification, concrete and seal repairs on the barriers, expansion joint seal replacements, and asphalt overlay of the bridge decks at the Main Street Southbound Bridge over the Assiniboine River (B104-SB) and the Norwood Southbound Bridge over the Red River (B103-SB) The major components of the Work, for both bridges, are as follows: (a) Scarification of bridge deck; (b) Partial depth concrete removals on the structural approach slabs and for the concrete deck headers; (c) Approach slab on grade replacement; (d) Repair of concrete deck delaminations, as required; (e) Place new High Performance Concrete (HPC) on the structural approach slabs, bridge deck shear keys, and headers; (f) Barrier concrete and seal repairs; (g) Waterproofing and asphalt overlay; (h) Strip seal replacement.
