The Springfield Electric Department is accepting sealed bids for the redesign and remodel/construction of the front entrance and lobby area of the office building located at 1000 Central Avenue, Springfield, TN. Scope of Job - Springfield Electric is seeking a contractor to redesign, remodel and construction of the front entrance and lobby area of the office building referenced above. The project will include a single door storefront entrance to a handicap accessible double door storefront entrance, demolition, and reframing and construction of the existing lobby area to allow for a better flow of traffic, and replacement of existing flooring. May require some sidewalk or front of building remodel construction. Bidders are required to visit the site to get a thorough scope of the work before submitting bids. Requirements - Contractor must be bonded, licensed, and insured. Provide rough draft drawing or design of work intended. Provide three (3) commercial job references that can be inspected. Responsible for collecting and removal of all refuse and debris. Create and maintain a safe area for pedestrians to pass through. At completion of job and final invoice must supply Springfield a release of any and all liens.
