The instrument transformers covered by these specifications are intended to be used in connection with revenue metering and protective relay equipment on the Department's electric system, in its stations, and on customers' premises. The transformers will be used on 60-hertz circuits at nominal operating voltages of 34,500; 14,400/8,300; 12,470/7,200; 4,800; 4,160/2,400; 2,400; 480; 240; and 120 Molded, wound or bar type primary as specified in the order, indoor type, 600-volt insulation class, 5-ampere secondary, and primary-current ratings as called for within the range from 200 to 800 amperes, inclusive, capable of carrying 200 percent rated current continuously without exceeding 55C temperature rise above 30C ambient and meeting the requirements of accuracy classification 0.3 B-0.1, B-0.2, B-0.5 as hereinafter defined
