This project consists of bituminous surface removal, hot-mix asphalt resurfacing, curb &gutter removal and replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement, manhole and inlet adjustments, pavement markings, seeding, traffic control, and miscellaneous items of work. This project has aDBE utilization goal of 6% set in conjunction with the Illinois Department of Transportation. Each bid shall beaccompanied by an acceptable form of Bid Guaranty in an amount equal to at least TEN PERCENT (10%), as aguarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute the contract and all other Contract Documents and file acceptable contract bond and proof ofinsurance within fourteen (14) days after the award of the contract and prior to commencement of work. The City of Champaign, Illinois, reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof and to waive any formality or technicality in any bids in the interest of the City.
