As of March 14, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on March 28, 2023. Columbus City Schools is looking to renew approximately 1100 variable air volume boxes at various schools. There are 5 groups being posted to give smaller companies the ability to participate. Each group is will have approximately 200-250 VAV boxes across 4 or 5 schools not to exceed a total budget not to exceed $2,000,000. The lowest bidder may accept as many packages as they are able to handle. This is an Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER Fund) funded project and all associated Federal rules must be complied with. Project completion required by June 7, 2024 to comply with ESSER funding rules. Incomplete jobs by this date may cause actual damage due of loss of ESSER funding. This must also comply with State of Ohio construction procurement law. See attachments including the Project Manual for contract specifics.
