The work under this Contract generally comprises of the installation of approximately 300 LF of 8-inch waterline by the directional drill method, reconnection of existing water mains, capping existing waterlines, installation of a valve, and appurtenances as set forth in, and conforming to, the requirements of the Contract Documents. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check on a solvent bank or a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 5 percent of the Bid total, payable to the Owner in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
