Renovation of a municipal facility in Denton, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The project consists of the renovation of the HVAC in the Denton County Courthouse on the Square (CHOS). Questions Due Date: Feb 24th 2023, 2:00 PM CST All questions shall be posted to Denton County's on-line eProcurement partner, Bonfire Submit Bid Security (Bid Bond) with Bid Form in the amount of 5 percent of the maximum amount of Bid Price payable without recourse to Denton County. The BidBond may be submitted using the surety bond form. Liquidated Damages in the amount of $1,000.00 will be assessed for each calendar day beyond established Substantial Completion date that work is not Substantially Complete. If thirty (30) days after Substantial Completion of the Work the Contractor is unable to achieve Final Completion of the Project as determined by Denton County, liquidated damages will be assessed at $2,000.00 per calendar day. See Section 9.11 Liquidated Damages of the Agreement of Construction for full description of liquidated damages. Successful Bidder shall submit Owner Performance and Payment Bonds in amount of 100 percent of Contract amount on the forms provided in the specifications within 10 days upon notice of award. Owner reserves right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids.
