Site work and paving for a road / highway in Oroville, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The work to be done under this contract consists of furnishing all materials, plant and equipment, and performing all necessary labor in accordance with the prepared plans, specifications, and special provisions as directed by the City or its authorized representative, as follows Construction Of The Yard And Bridge Street Intersection Improvements Yard and Bridge Street Intersection Improvements - Addition of three (3) ADA ramps at the intersection of Bridge and Yard Street in front of Oroville High School. This will also include the removal and replacement of areas adjacent to the proposed ADA ramps to improve drainage and meet ADA and Caltrans standards. The existing valley gutter in this intersection will be removed and replaced with a storm drain system connecting to the existing storm drain system north of the intersection. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES If the Contractor refuses or fails to complete the work within the time specified, including authorized extensions, there shall be deducted from monies due the Contractor, not as a penalty, but as liquidated damages the sum of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) for each working day subsequent to the time specified for each project and the time the work is actually completed and accepted. Delays caused by adverse weather conditions or conditions for which the Owner is clearly responsible will be added to the contract time. Completion- (45) working days.
