The Master Utility Improvements for Kingsborough East Project Description(s) Kingsborough, Phase 1A Paving and Utility: Location: Talty ETJ, Kaufman County, Texas Scope of Work: 60 Lots 4,900 LF 12" Waterline 2,000 LF 8" Waterline 2,600 LF Sanitary Sewer 1,400 LF Storm Drain Outfall Structures & Drainage Channels 15,200 SY Concrete Placement 1,250 SY Asphalt Placement (Evans Road) It is anticipated that the same utility contractor will be awarded the Kingsborough, Phase 1A Utility Improvements contract and the Kingsborough East, Master Utility Improvements contract, which will be treated as one project with a concurrent construction schedule. The district reserves the right to award in this or in a different manner if it is most advantageous to the District and results in the best and most economical completion of the District's proposed facilities as defined by TWC 49.273. The Kingsborough, Phase 1A Paving Improvements contract will be awarded separately. LGI Homes - Texas, LLC. on behalf of Kaufman County Fresh Water Supply District No. 7A and JLM 717 Kaufman, L.P. on behalf of Kaufman County Fresh Water Supply District No. 7A reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. (Texas Water Code 49.273) Separate bid securities in the form of bid bond or cashier's check payable to LGI Homes - Texas, LLC. on behalf of Kaufman County Fresh Water Supply District No. 7A and JLM 717 Kaufman, L.P. on behalf of Kaufman County Fresh Water Supply District No. 7A in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid submitted, must accompany each Bid. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply to this Bid and/or Contract and bidder/contractor agrees that the Contract can be terminated if the bidder/contractor knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with a requirement of that subchapter. Bidder/Contractor declares that it has not received from a governmental body a notice of noncompliance with a provision of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Texas Government Code, or, if such notice has been received, bidder/contractor has taken adequate steps to ensure future compliance with such subchapter and has provided or upon request will provide documentation of same.
