Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Tioga, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
Fa Proj Y001-9067-823, Tioga Co., Pavement Rehab/ Bridge Deck Replacement: Ny Route 17, Apalachin to Broome County Line, Town of Owego. This project crack and seats and overlays Route 17 from Apalachin to the Broome County line. And includes 2 Bridge deck replacements. Additional work on Route 17 includes repairing 27 culverts, adding guide rails, drainage and ground-mounted sign structure upgrades. SAFETAP items are also addressed. This project also mills and resurfaces the asphalt pavement and shoulders on Rt. 962J (Valley View Drive with bicycle and pedestrian facilities improvements and newly resurfaced shoulders and pavement markings and traffic signal loop replacements. Town of Owego, Tioga County. Project Status The current status of the project is In Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Fall 2023. Construction is expected to begin in Fall 2023. Construction is expected to be completed in Summer 2026. This Project is Located in the Southern Tier Region and Includes the Following: Counties Tioga NYDOT: Pavement Rehab/ Bridge Deck Replacement: Ny Route 17
