The intent of these printed provisions is to provide and place pavement markings as specified in accordance with the 2020 MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION (section 811) and the CURRENT EDITION OF THE MICHIGAN MANUAL OF UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES, as revised. The Contractor shall furnish labor, materials, equipment, and all elements necessary to perform the contracted service as described in the bid document. The Contractor shall be MDOT pre-qualified for the application of traffic marking material and show the ability of its personnel and equipment to satisfactorily apply traffic marking material. Unless specified, all work shall be done in accordance with the requirements of Section 811 of the Michigan Department of Transportation 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction. Pavement marking materials shall be selected from the MDOT Qualified Products List or approved by the Road Commission. All bids shall be in sealed envelopes clearly labeled "Pavement Marking Bid". Late bids shall not be accepted. All prices shall be F.O.B. Wexford County. All prices shall remain until April 15, 2025.
