The Wexford County Road Commission, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.0 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, SubTitle A, Office the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contact entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The intent of these printed provisions is to provide and place pavement markings
as specified in accordance with the 2020 MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION
(section 811) and the CURRENT EDITION OF THE MICHIGAN MANUAL OF
UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES, as revised. The Contractor shall
furnish labor, materials, equipment, and all elements necessary to perform the
contracted service as described in the bid document.
The Contractor shall be MDOT pre-qualified for the application of traffic marking
material and show the ability of its personnel and equipment to satisfactorily
apply traffic marking material. Unless specified, all work shall be done in
accordance with the requirements of Section 811 of the Michigan Department of
Transportation 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction.
Pavement marking materials shall be selected from the MDOT Qualified
Products List or approved by the Road Commission.
All bids shall be in sealed envelopes clearly labeled "Pavement Marking Bid".
Late bids shall not be accepted.
All prices shall be F.O.B. Wexford County. All prices shall remain until April 15,
2025.
