Project Description: Work Includes, but is not limited to removal of existing well pump and drop pipe; cleaning of well using Aqua Freed process; performing well yield test; reinstalling pump and new drop pipe; installing Aqua Gard piping arrangement and level sensor; vault access modifications; electrical equipment removal and replacement; flow meter removals and replacements; exploratory test well. Proposals will be accepted only from bidders who obtain the biddable Contract Documents directly from the Department. All proposals must be submitted on a printed paper version of the official Proposal Form 004113 and enclosed in a sealed envelope. Each proposal must be accompanied by a deposit or a Bid Bond Form 004313 in the amount of 5% of the bid. The Successful Bidder on a single trade project with a bid over $50,000 and all Successful Bidders on multiple trade projects, will be required to furnish a Performance Surety Bond and a Labor and Materials Surety Bond, each for 100% of the amount of the contract, estimated to be between $100,000 and $150,000.
