**As of April 12, 2023 , this project has been awarded to Rehak General Engineering.** Removing existing redwood retaining wall; excavating and installing a permanent concrete foundation footing for the adjacent portion of the City Hall building exterior wall; installing a retaining wall drainage system; backfilling and replacing redwood retaining wall; and removing and replacing a limited section of asphalt parking lot and concrete sidewalk. Plans include suggested helical pier shoring approach. Contractor may submit alternate method (See Exhibit B: Technical drawings and specifications for Carmel City Hall Retaining Wall Repair, MSE Project Number 22-017, Drawn by S.C. Mayone 12/20/2022). City Hall is an historic building and shall remain open at all times; however, the contractor may close off and utilize the South parking lot during performance of the work.
