Sealed bids for personnel, equipment, tools and some materials for Line Clearance Tree Trimming & Removal project along our 15kv distribution and 69kv lines as described in the technical specifications (Section 4) will be received by the City of Centralia (City) Light Department, Line General Foreman (General Foreman). Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Proposal form contained in the Contract Documents. The bid shall be delivered in a sealed envelope plainly marked Sealed Bid: Public Works Contract CCL-23-08 PWC; Line Clearance Tree Trimming along with the name and address of the bidder and the date and time of the bid. A Surety Bond, cashiers check, or certified check of the bidder, made payable to City of Centralia, for five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each bid as security. Bid security of all, except the lowest bidder, will be returned upon execution of the contract by the successful bidder. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The City provides reasonable accommodations to persons with disabilities. We invite any person with special needs to contact the City Clerk at (360) 330-7670 at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the bid opening to discuss any special accommodations that may be necessary.
