This project is designed to provide new finishes in the basement corridors of building 2. The contractor awarded this project is to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, qualified supervision, and all aspects of construction described herein. This is to also include other specific tasks as further defined in the project drawings and specifications associated with this request for Bid. The work includes, but not limited to demolition, wall repair, skim coating/plaster works, painting, and installation of wall protection, handrails/bumpers guards and epoxy flooring. All trash and debris shall be removed from area in accordance with contract documents and all construction work is to be performed in accordance with local building code, specifications, and contract documents. All work shall be performed after normal hospital working hours. This will typically be from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. The corridors will remain clear of all materials and tools during normal working hours. All work, including final cleanup and completion of any punch list items, shall be performed within two hundred and twenty-five (225) calendar days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
