For Moorman Park New Parking Lot Bids are invited upon the items of work as follows: Work of the Project includes Construction of a new parking lot to be located north of the Moorman Park Activity Area and volleyball courts. The proposed work includes: excavation, concrete pavement or asphalt pavement, sidewalks, curbs, site grading and drainage, storm sewer, and utilities. All proposals shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the "Proposal Bid Bond" form contained in the project manual, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the Quincy Park District, or a bank cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check payable to the Quincy Park District, for not less than 5 percent (5%) of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past.
