Saving Project...

Renovation of a multi-residential development in Bay City, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

Remove and replace two domestic hot water storage tanks at Pine Towers, 306 S. Walnut Street, Bay City. This project will replace two existing domestic water storage tanks at Pine Towers, 306 S. Walnut Street, Bay City, Michigan, a 115-unit senior/disabled high rise development. A single contract will be awarded to all work described in this project. Currently Pine Towers has two 200-gallon steel storage tanks (photos page 3) and we will replace with two 119 gallon glass lined storage tanks. Pine Towers domestic hot water is generated by two (2) Armor AWN200PM heaters. Storage tank shall be constructed in accordance with ASME boiler and pressure vessel code requirements. The storage tank shall be constructed with heavy gage galvanized steel jacket assembly with a minimum thickness of 0.70 mills. The interior of the tank shall be glass lined and fired to 1,600 F to ensure a molecular fusing of glass and steel, furnished with magnesium anodes. The storage tank shall be encased with a minimum of 2" thick, high density polyurethane insulation as per the ASHRAE 90.1 standard. Storage tank shall have a working pressure of 125 PSI. Installation of storage tank shall be in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and code requirements. Clean and flush tanks after installation. Pre-Approved Products. Model TJV-120A glass lined commercial storage tank manufactured by AO Smith or Model RJA120 manufactured by Lockinvar or owner pre-approved equal.
