The Project consists of the clearing and snagging of existing trees, debris, and other material in approximately 13.5 miles of the Indian Bayou channel in Lonoke County, AR. Items to be removed include woody debris downed trees, snags, branches, beaver dams, stumps and foreign material such as tires, appliances, and other trash or rubbish. Protection of the channel bottom and side slopes is required. Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price payable without recourse to the Owner, or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within fifteen (15) days after notice of award of Contract to him. Such bid guarantee shall be made payable to BAYOU METO WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT.
