The Park District of Highland Park is accepting sealed bids for the 2023 Asphalt Improvements Project. This project addresses cart path sections along holes 12, 13, and 14 The Park Board of the Park District of Highland Park reserves the right to reject any or all bids in full or in part, if it shall deem it in the public interest to do so. In submitting a bid, Contractor acknowledges that Contractor must comply with all requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and all other applicable Illinois laws. Bid Status Text Schedule: Anticipated Contract Award: 03/29/2023 Anticipated Construction Start: 04/03/2023 Anticipated Project Completion: 11/17/2023 Scope of Work The Park District of Highland Park is seeking sealed bids for the following scope of work: The bid includes Base Bid scope at: Lincoln Park (1280 Green Bay Road, Highland Park, Illinois): Patch/color coat/stripe - Basketball Court Sunset Valley Golf Club (1390 Sunset Road, Highland Park, Illinois): 2" Grind/2" Overlayment of specified cart paths. This project addresses cart path sections along holes 12, 13, and 14. The bid includes five alternates: Alternate 1 - Central Park (125 Central Avenue, Highland Park, Illinois): Striping - Parking Lot Alternate 2 - Cunniff Park (2700 Trail Way, Highland Park, Illinois): Conversion of 4 tennis courts to twelve pickleball courts. This includes: o Demolition of existing net posts o Installation of new net posts and net anchor installation o Color coat/striping Alternate 3 - Cunniff Park (2700 Trail Way, Highland Park, Illinois): Conversion of 4 tennis courts to 10 pickleball courts. This includes: o Demolition of existing net posts o Installation of new net posts and net anchor installation o color coat/striping Alternate 4 - Sunset Valley Golf Cub (1390 Sunset Road, Highland Park, Illinois): 2" Grind/2" Overlayment - Cart Path (Hole 1) Alternate 5 - Sunset Valley Golf Club (1390 Sunset Road, Highland Park, Illinois): 2" Grind/2" Overlayment - Cart Paths (Hole 10) Alternate 6 - Sunset Valley Golf Club (1390 Sunset Road, Highland Park, Illinois): 2" Grind/2" Overlayment - Cart Paths (Hole 11) Alternate 7 - Sunset Valley Golf Club (1390 Sunset Road, Highland Park, Illinois): Striping - Parking Lot (East) Alternate 8 - Sunset Valley Golf Club (1390 Sunset Road, Highland Park, Illinois): Striping - Parking Lot (South) General Note: All access to Sunset Valley Golf Club project site locations shall be on existing cart paths only. No traffic allowed on any turf areas at any time. The scope of work includes all necessary workmanship to satisfactorily complete the work as required by the contract documents. Work will start April 3, 2023 and conclude by October 27, 2023. Refer to site schedule for construction schedule. Contractors bidding on the project must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the work or similar. NON-MANDATORY There is no pre-bid meeting.
