The City of Semmes is accepting Sealed Proposals from qualified contractors to provide prices for LANDSCAPE SERVICES at certain City facilities. Contractor will perform basic landscape duties at designated locations, one time per week, between the months of April and September. Landscape services in this instance is defined as mowing, weed eating, edging against concrete surfaces, and blowing. Questions will be accepted via email only, to Jason Franklin, Public Works Director, at jasonfranklin@CityofSemmesAL.gov until 3:00pm on Monday, February 27, 2023, with subject line Questions-RFP-Landscape Service. An addendum listing all of Q&A, clarification, etc. will be sent to all package holders. As a requirement of this RFP, a five percent (5%) Bid Bond shall be submitted with proposal. The successful proposer will be required to provide Payment and Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of total contract amount before execution of the contract. The City of Semmes reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals or part thereof, to accept one or more items of the bid/proposal without obligation as to other items, and to waive any informalities or irregularities. All Minority, Woman and Small Businesses are strongly encouraged to apply. Only responsive proposals that are determined to meet the requirements and criteria set forth by the City of Semmes will be considered.
