The scope of this RFP includes: Construction Management Services - will generally include providing construction contract administration, resident engineering, and inspection services on behalf of the City of Concord. Proposers shall submit their qualifications and experience in their RFP response packages. The City's intent is to negotiate the contract in March 2023 and award in April 2023. The RFP includes documents relevant to the Pavement Maintenance Zone 5J Project (City Project No. 2526). The Pavement Maintenance Zone 5J Project (City Project No. 2526) will be constructed in Summer 2023. The project primarily involves pavement maintenance consisting of overlay and digout repairs in the neighborhood south of Hillcrest Community Park, including streets like Overhill Road, Avon Avenue, etc. The work to be done in general consists of mobilization; traffic control; water pollution control program; cold planning and wedge grinding of asphalt roadway section; installation of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) overlays; removal & replacement HMA including dig-out repairs; removal & replacement of concrete sidewalk, curb & gutter, curb ramps, driveways and valley gutters; pruning and removal of tree roots; adjustment (raising) of utility covers to finish grade, drainage inlets, one storm drain pipe; removal & replacement of traffic striping and pavement markings.
