Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The scope of work involves furnishing all of the required labor, materials, equipment, implements, parts and supplies necessary for, or appurtenant to 2023 Maintenance Facility - Roof Replacement Bid, in accordance herewith and in accordance with the plans, specifications and drawings dated February 19, 2020 and any authorized change orders there to which have been signed by both parties hereto, and which are hereby incorporated herein by reference. The Bid may be awarded at the Park Board Meeting on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at the Administration Building, 499 Biesterfield Rd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. The general prevailing rate of wages in the locality for each craft or type of worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract or perform the work, and the general prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work, as ascertained by the Park District or the Illinois Department of labor shall be paid for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract or to perform such work and it shall be mandatory upon the Contractor to whom the contract is awarded and upon any subcontractor under him to pay not less than the specified rates to all laborers, workers and mechanics employed by them in the execution of the contract or such work.
