Demolition and site work for a residential development in Huntersville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development.
NOTE: Asbestos Sampling and Inspection completed February 2, 2023 and no Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) were identified. A copy of the inspection report is linked with this invitation to bid. The Town of Huntersivlle is seeking a licensed contractor to demolish the commercial structure at 14706 N Old Statesville Road (Parcel ID 01903114) and clear the site of resulting debris. Contractor will be responsible for Mecklenburg County Demolition permit and compliance with County and State rules regarding demolition and debris removal. The demo and grading is necessary to support future redevelopment of this parcel. Note: The parcel slopes downward from the existing building. Existing customer parking area is used as overflow for Town Hall and will continue to be used for that purpose following demolition and removal of debris. The area will be clear for demo and care should be taken to protect it for future use. The Town's contractor completed an asbestos inspection that revealed no Asebestos Containing Materials (ACM), thus no abatement is needed as part of demolition activities. The Town will contact utility providers to providers make sure utilities are cut off prior to demolition.
