Construction of Control Valve for Kaufman County MUD 12 Project scope includes construction of a control valve structure at existing EST #1. Project scope includes construction of 4 vertical turbine pump (2,800 GPM each), New Pump Station with associated piping, electrical equipment and a control valve at existing EST #1. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within 7 days after the date the Contractor is notified The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. Least number of construction working days (M-S) is critical on this project. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by addenda.
