Site work for a water / sewer project in Sarasota, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Sarasota County ("County"), a political subdivision of the State of Florida, will receive proposals on the date indicated in Periscope S2G for the purpose of selecting a qualified Proposer to provide, install, and startup turn-key automated residual control system(s) (system) on the County's potable water storage tank(s). Contract Award 07/12/2023 mneel@scgov.net The County operates a variety of potable water storage tanks that vary from ground storage tanks to elevated storage tanks. The potable water tanks are where the future potable water is continuously mixed, disinfected, and sampled. Due to a change in system hydraulics and advances in the water treatment industry, Sarasota County is now seeking proposals for an automated residual control system to be installed to efficiently and effectively monitor, mix, and dose water treatment chemicals to maintain water quality in the County's potable water tank(s). The mixing system shall be installed with automated liquid sodium hypochlorite and liquid ammonium sulfate feeds to provide optimum water quality while allowing water treatment plant operators the ability to set, control, and maintain residual levels in a safe and cost-effective way. a. Equipment must have the ability to provide real-time sampling and analysis b. System must have remote monitoring possibility and log data c. System must be housed in a structure meant to withstand outdoor conditions at the installation location. 1. Chemicals will be stored in a separate area. 2.
