Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
As the Construction Manager, Mosites is requesting hard bid GMP pricing. The scope includes renovating and updating all common spaces and fitness facilities, including the wellness floor, locker rooms, and meeting rooms. New childcare space and additional programming are also envisioned. 86 single-room occupancy (SRO) units will be renovated on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors with a new configuration that replaces shared bathrooms with private facilities and provides a much-needed community room for the residents. Rooms and corridor renovations will include flooring, painting, and ceilings. Additional work will include replacing mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems and installing a sprinkler system. Air conditioning and new elevators will be added. Trades sought on this project include the following: 01A - Final Construction Cleaning, 02A – Asbestos Abatement, 04A – Masonry Restoration, 04B – New Masonry Work, 05A – Steel/Misc. Metals, 07A – Roofing, 07B - Caulking, 08A – Glass + Aluminum, 08B – Architectural Storm Windows, 08C – Doors, Frames, Hardware (Material Only), 08D - Architectural Wood Window Replacements, 09A – Drywall and Acoustic, 09B – Ceramic Tile, 09C – Flooring, 09D – Painting, 14A – Elevators, 21A – Fire Protection, 22A – Plumbing, 23A – HVAC, 33A – New Utilities + Asphalt Patching.
