This contract provides for an overlay of N 62nd Ave between SR 224 (Van Giesen) and Harrington Rd, ADA ramps, and the installation of 6-inch, 8-inch and 12-inch PVC water main on N 62nd Ave between SR 224 (Van Giesen) and Harrington Rd. Work will include planing pavement, asphalt pavement overlay, removal and replacement of sidewalk, asphalt pavement restoration, ADA ramps, plastic and painted pavement markings, fire hydrants assemblies, CBU mailbox units, and other work, in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashiers check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond or quality assurance submittals within the time stated in the contract documents, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of West Richland. Each Bidder shall warrant he has not entered into collusion with another bidder or any other person, and does not discriminate in any manner against any person based solely on race, color, sex or creed.
