Per the owner, as of January 4, 2024, an award has been made for this solicitation. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ............. The City of Brentwood ("City") invites qualified environmental firms ("firms") to submit proposals ("Proposal") for environmental services for Site 1 of the Sand Creek Sports Complex Project ("Project"). The Project will be located on approximately 33 acres on the northwest corner of Sand Creek Road and Fairview Avenue. Site 1 of the Project consists of the design and construction of 14.48 acres of City-owned property and is anticipated that it will include 3 full-size lighted sports fields with artificial turf, parking lot, restrooms, storage building, picnic areas and other possible park amenities like pickleball courts, outdoor exercise equipment, playground, shade elements, and more. Site 2 includes the Contra Costa County Flood Control District ("District") detention basin, which consists of 19.24 acres that could potentially add 2 additional natural turf sports fields. The District has already completed CEQA review of the aforementioned detention basin for a future basin expansion for flood protection purposes, which could also accommodate the Project. Federal funding will be utilized as part of the construction for the Project. The City has hired Verde Design, Inc. to plan and design the Project. The City now seeks an environmental consultant to prepare required technical studies and CEQA/NEPA compliance documents to ensure that all environmental concerns are quantified and mitigated for the Project. Following approval of CEQA/NEPA documents, Verde Design, Inc. will complete the final design. The selection process will include the firm's experience in performing environmental services on projects of a similar size and scope, past client satisfaction and recommendations, time commitment and quality of the Proposal. Proposals shall be presented in accordance with the specified Request for Proposal ("RFP") requirements set forth herein.
