The City of Rosenberg is seeking quotes from qualified vendors to provide landscaping services for the historic downtown flowerpots. The successful bidder/contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools and supervision necessary and required during the course of performing the landscaping and maintenance of the 23 flowerpots located in Historic Downtown Rosenberg as indicated in Exhibit A. Contractor shall provide the City with an acceptable maintenance schedule and monthly performance report. Contractor shall contact Communications Department staff immediately if inclement weather or other circumstances has materially affected the maintenance and landscaping schedule. Because the scope of service not only involves routine maintenance and planting but monitoring and observing plant health and appropriate plant selections for container landscaping, the selected contractor should have experience demonstrating the expertise of managing a public or commercial landscape maintenance program with preference given to landscaping that includes flowerpot container plantings. The City of Rosenberg improved the quality and quantity of its downtown landscaping by installing twenty three (23) planter pots in the Historic Downtown Rosenberg area located along 3rd Street between Avenues F and H, along Avenue G between 2nd and 4th Streets. Upon award, contract term shall commence March 1, 2023, continue through September 30, 2024, with two (2) optional (1) year renewal terms upon mutual agreement. The successful contractor shall provide and maintain insurance coverage as set forth in the City of Rosenberg General Services contract throughout the term of the contract. Additionally, a certificate of insurance with "City of Rosenberg" as named additional insured with respect to the following policy types: General Liability Shall be furnished with corresponding endorsements.
