Sealed Proposals will be received by Cecil Township, 3599 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA 15321 for: Contract A - Pavement Maintenance on various roads throughout the Township including 16,350 S.Y. of 3" +/- Rotomilling and Profiling, 825 L.F. of Keyways, 925 S.Y. of Base Repairs, 24 Each Inlet/Manhole Adjustments, 15,330 L.F. of 6" x 18" Bituminous Wedge Curb, 3,350 Tons of 2" 0 to 0.3 ESAL's 19mm Superpave Bituminous Binder, 23,250 S.Y. of 1 " 0 to 0.3 ESAL's 9.5 mm Fine Graded Superpave Wearing Surface, 300 Tons of 2" 0.3 to 3.0 ESAL's 19mm Superpave Bituminous Binder, 2,000 S.Y. of 1 " 0.3 to 3.0 ESAL's 9.5 mm Fine Graded Superpave Wearing Surface 6 Each Type M Inlet Replacement, 190 L.F. of 15" Storm Sewer, 3,100 L.F. of 6" Underdrain, 9,162 S.F. of Single Seal Coat, 9.162 S.Y. of Fog Seal, and Traffic Control and Restoration. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages must be paid on these contracts. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the amounts specified, as well as Certificates of Workman's Compensation must be filed with the executed Agreement. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of Cecil Township in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within 15 days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. The Proposals must be made to Cecil Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and shall remain firm for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days. No Bidder may withdraw his Proposal during the one hundred twenty (120) day period without forfeiting his Bid guarantee. All bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified and meet the work classification codes of E, F, and F1. All bids submitted must have the contractor's valid pre-qualification certification attached to the outside of the bid or it will be rejected. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein.
