The Little Rock School District is requesting SEALED bids from qualified licensed contractors to provide for Athletic Wing Demolition at Mann Middle School. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any formalities in bids received. Price alone may not be the determining factor. Award will be based upon those considerations, which are in the best interest of the District and will be made to the responsive, responsible bidder whose bid is judged to be the most effective and economical for the purpose intended, according to the requirements and specifications stated in the Invitation for Bids. The contract will be awarded to the contractor, who submits the lowest most responsible, responsive offer complying with the instructions specified within. Award will be based on those considerations which are in the best interest of the District. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any irregularities or formalities in any solicitation or bid responses. Price alone may not be the determining factor. Each bid will include with it a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid offered. It will be in the form of a cashier's check or insurance surety bond (with Power of Attorney attached) made payable to the owner If bid is over $20,000.00, a Performance and Payment bond will also be furnished by the successful bidder within ten (10) days after receipt of the Little Rock School District intent to award notice.
