Bid Package No. 31 Earthwork, Storm Sewer, & SWPPP Bids will be based on a single bid package. See specific scope of work for specification inclusion & responsibility. Generally, the work may be described as the package listed above. Bids shall include not less than the prevailing hourly wage rate determined by the Illinois Department of Labor. All successful contractors will be expected to enter into a Project Labor Agreement with the Southwest Illinois Building Trades Council. A Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Owner, in the amount of 5% of the Base Bid shall accompany the Bid as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will execute the contract and proceed with the work. Bidders are required to complete the bid form provided. Sealed bids must include: bid security and bid form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality or to accept any bid which in the judgment of the Owner may be most advantageous to them. Bidders must be in compliance with the rules and regulations of the Fair Employment Practices Commission. No Bids may be withdrawn after the opening of bids, without the consent of the Owner, for a period of ninety (90) days thereafter.
