For Natural Science Center and Science Annex-Connect NSC to West Campus Chilled Water Loop Georgia State University (GSU, Using Agency), is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from firms interested in providing Mechanical Contractor (GC) services for the project known as Project No. 0000-028-23, Natural Science Center and Science Annex, Connect NSC to West Campus Chilled Water loop. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks to identify the most qualified potential providers of the services mentioned above. Firms determined by the Owner to be the most qualified for this project will be invited to offer Competitive Sealed Bids for these services. All respondents to this RFQ are subject to instructions communicated in this document and additional terms and conditions listed in the Owners Request for Qualifications / Request for Competitive Sealed Bids (RFQ/RFP). GSU reserves the right to reject any or all statements of qualifications or proposals and to waive technicalities and informalities at the discretion of GSU. The project consists of extending the chilled water piping from the Langdale building on East side of Peachtree Center Avenue, L Lot, routing underground and west through the green space (former Kell Hall area), across Peachtree Center Avenue and into the parking deck I, street level of the Science Annex Building. The proposed chilled water route will continue underground in the parking deck I to an existing storage room located in the rear of the parking deck. The chilled water piping will extend above grade in a newly constructed (by this contract) pump room, located within the storage room, at the ground level of the parking deck. Piping will extend above grade from the pump room to both the Natural Science Center and the Science Annex mechanical rooms. Contractor will be responsible for returning site conditions to their pre-construction activity state, ie, sod, irrigation system, concrete sidewalks, asphalt paving if trenching, concrete slab in parking lots.
