Site work for a water / sewer project in Barberton, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
a. Installation of a sanitary sewer pump station including all excavation, ballast concrete, premium backfill, and restoration. Pump station unit to be provided by the owner (SMP). b. Pump station unit provided by SMP includes the fiberglass well structure, pumps, guides, floats, and control panel. Galvanized strut channel support for control panel to be included in this scope of work. c. Electrical connection from the existing service panel in the building to the pump control panel. Pumps are 2 Hp, single-phase, 230V. Contractor to provide new breakers, wire from the panel to the station, pull box, and conduit. Existing 2 PVC conduit from the panel, under the slab to the exterior wall of the building. Contractor to install Quazite pull box and extend conduit to the pump control panel. d. Connection of the building sewer stub to the pump station unit. e. Installation of a force main pipe from the pump station to the public sewer connection. Pipe to be installed via trenchless, horizontal directional drilling (HDD) methods to minimize open excavation. f. Connection to the public sewer manhole. g. Restoration of all disturbed areas. h. Other items as defined in the Contract Documents, Addenda, Plans and Specifications Greenways South Field Office - Sanitary Service Improvements The Board of Park Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in bidding
